  • Hope Street Food Pantry is thrilled to announce a new partnership with the Charlotte Mecklenburg Library to bring convenient food distributions directly to neighborhood libraries throughout Mecklenburg County. Starting in March, they will be setting up at a different library branch every month. This partnership allows them to reach residents facing food insecurity in neighborhoods where they already feel comfortable and welcome. If you have questions, please call them at 704-584-9073 ext 1 or email Melody HERE.

  • Read Charlotte | New Program: Read Charlotte has developed a new turnkey reading program called Queen City Readers (QCR). The goal is to help adults with no formal literacy or education background to help children master basic K-1 word reading skills. They are interested in talking with churches who might be interested in exploring how they could integrate this new resource into their outreach work with young children next school year.
